A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
It's true, you heard right, my husband and I are expecting a baby in the spring!
I have decided to start a blog about my pregnancy because I have so many questions. I have found that other women have given me the best advice, and I'm sure dads and grandparents also have a lot of practical knowledge to share! No worries - I promise not to get into too much detail.
I don't have any children of my own so this is very exciting, friends ask me how I can possibly concentrate! That is getting easier now that I am in the second trimester and feeling more like myself.
I will be writing more in the days and weeks to come. For women who have tried to get pregnant for years let me tell you miracles really do happen, trust me. More on that later.

Congratulations to you and your husband. This is such a special time. I have 3 children of my own and I never believed how fast they would grow up.
Enjoy every minute of your pregnancy and when your little one arrives. Document those special events from doctor visits, ultrasounds, those unique movements when the baby moves and tickles your tummy,it's been 17 years since I had my 3rd child and I still remember it like it was yesterday.
A little added advice is to start a family tree with photos, birthdays, medical history,etc...
Best Wishes and I look forward to reading your blog!!!
Congratulations Lisa to you and your husband!!!
Children are a blessing. I have 3 children of my own and the time goes by very fast.
I have found that enjoying every moment is precious, the first time the baby moves and tickles your tummy, doctor visits, seeing your baby on the ultrasound, watching your belly grow knowing that's your little angel in there.
I started a family tree that includes birthdays, birthplaces, medical history of family members, photos, etc...
Best Wishes!!!
Congratulations to you, Lisa, to your husband, and extended family!

Hey Lisa
Congrats on your good news. I remember talking at our high school reunion a couple of years ago. We talked about children and some of your struggles to get pregnant. I am so glad that your dream has come true. My son is now 8 and each day had been a blessing. We are now looking to expand our family. Pregnancy is such an incredible time, enjoy every moment of it. So happy for you.
